Picking up right where the last book left off, this thrilling second installment and climatic conclusion to controversial author Jason L. Gooding’s foray into literary relevance (and obvious cry for help) will stand apart from any other book you have ever read for the same reasons the Elephant Man would have stood out at a nudist beach.
In many action type stories, the heroes have to stop a single cataclysmic event from transpiring. In The Destroyer: Book Two, however, Murphy and Corliss work together to not only stop the angels from summoning God (a supremely powerful alien conqueror) to Earth, but to also thwart the fiendish Archduke Asmodeus before he can unleash his plan create a “New Hell” by spreading demonic DNA into the world’s populace — turning the ten percent who are strong enough to survive into a monstrous army of mutants, while killing the other ninety percent of the people on Earth within the first hour of being exposed.
Enjoy the ride as Gooding blurs that fine line between tortured genius and derivative hack, fusing several different genres with a degree of surgical precision one would normally expect to find in the back alleys of Haiti’s less-reputable abortion clinics. In fact, if you’re a fan of the Twilight Series, appreciate the written works of Nicholas Sparks, or give a shit what Oprah thinks, you’re probably a teenage girl, an overweight, middle-aged housewife, or a big homo, and we guarantee you’ll hate this book.

Highly offensive and entirely politically incorrect, The Destroyer: Book Two continues controversial author Jason L. Gooding’s unnatural melding of graphic violence, unholy imagery—and fart jokes. If you blended Seth MacFarlane, William Peter Blatty, Joss Whedon, and Quentin Tarantino together in a blender, the resulting bloody cocktail would resemble Gooding’s work and probably set the kitchen on fire.
