“Five sacred solos” refers to five things that stand alone. Not just things, but five great truths or teachings. They were discovered – or should we say rediscovered – at the time known as the Reformation period in Europe, mainly in the sixteenth century.
They are still of vital importance to all Christians today:
1. Sola Scriptura – Only the Bible
2. Sola Fide – Faith Alone!
3. Solus Christus – Christ Alone
4. Sola Gratia – Grace Alone
5. Soli Deo Gloria – Glory to God Alone
