After four months of hitchhiking through the Netherlands and Scandinavia, Niels decides to go on one more adventure before the summer comes to an end. No more hitching, only walking this time. Well, that’s about all he has decided for this new journey. He takes the train to Maastricht, close to the borders of Belgium and Germany, and starts heading east. Since Pet Shop Boys and Village People are not always correct, this might actually be the right direction for him. Crossing the hills and forests of Germany, he slowly finds his way to collect what he came for, a real German:
