I unlocked the room and walked inside. My spine stiffened as he shut the door behind him, and I suddenly felt a little more vulnerable being this close to him. Maybe I wasn't really afraid of what my parents would think. Maybe I was more concerned about what I'd do alone with him than anything else.
Jack
"It's okay. You're safe." I pulled her into my arms, unable to help myself. "It's all okay." I ran my hand over her back, not sure if I even believed what I had said. What would James say? I couldn't do anything but wait for the consequences. I glanced down at Molly. If I was going to crash and burn, I might as well explore what this relationship could be like first. "Let's get out of here."
