Exoplanet PCB4: A journey into the near future

This novel tries to tell a section of the lives of two persons who want to escape the inconveniences on the earth in 2060 in order to find their salvation and a better life in a faraway exoplanet and experience some surprises. The journey then takes a completely different turn as they have expected. Firstly they were occupied with their minds with terrestrial problems which turned later into the background after the encounter with extraterrestrial beings. It did not take very long, they were again confronted with earthly matters, which leads them thoughtfully into the past of humanity, but ultimately it ends up in an earthly, but changed, present.
The present novel is addressed to all those who are concerned about the near future of mankind, how it could look, and what kind of possible practical challenges we might to encounter on such ventures, and what changes would have the participants to adjust over time? What fears and feelings could then arise, and not least, how would such journeys affect social coexistence?
In conventional science-fiction literature, the reader usually looks the spectacle from a safe perspective, but here the author is trying to take the reader directly into the situation of the protagonists. Although story is fictional, futuristic and visionary, the scenario shows in a coherent and comprehensible way that the practical feasibility in nearest future of mankind would be quite conceivable.
