"Measuring Performance of Tennis Racquets" presents some procedures for dynamic and static measurements of the qualities of several parts of a tennis racquet. Up to recently, tennis racquets have been presented as "good", "light", "hard" and other adjectives that do not accurately quantify the characteristics of a tennis racquet. Different strings have different qualities and the racquet itself is constituted of many parts, each one with their own qualities. Using electronic equipment, it is possible to quantify by numbers these qualities and consequently becomes possible to match the racquet for the specific preferences of one player.
