This is the first in a series of books intended to show full builds of my favourite kits by Tamiya, Dragon and others. Some, like this book, will be of an older kit and some will be of the latest releases, all however will be built using only the contents of the basic kit with no aftermarket additions. I strongly believe excellent models can be made without expensive photo etch and resin upgrades.
I hope this book encourages its readers to use kit parts to their fullest potential thereby producing realistic models at acceptable cost. The key to this is careful construction and painting, all aspects of which is shown within this book, in a step by step format illustrated with many photographs.
