In the late 1980’s, it was hypothesized that all humans had a common mother who lived 200,000 years ago in Africa, “Eve”. Subsequent to that study, another came out that traced all living humans to 27 mothers believed to be the survivors of an apocalypse untold thousands of years ago. Looking around, we can see the similarities within one another as well as the differences from developing in such diverse environments. What might happen if two groups of humans separated by an apocalypse on two different solar bodies survived and flourished each in their own way? Survival of The Fittest explores that.
