Time Pullers is the author’s offering to help bring “science” back to science fiction, now that the genre has merged with and has been diluted by the fantasy genre. It is a unique approach to the subject of time travel, and in addition to the substantial use of real science, it is written in a multiple-protagonist style. If either hard science fiction or the use of other than the run-of-the-mill single-protagonist technique is not your cup of tea, then by all means, look for something easier to read. If you enjoy being challenged, however, or if you want to expand your mind and explore a different take on time travel, then come along—you could actually enjoy the ride. Many others have. “Horton Deakins' novel, Time Pullers made the idea of time travel so believable, I kept finding myself excited by the possibility that we may experience something like this in my lifetime. And it seems like a very timely book, what with the recent news that scientists have discovered particles that appear to travel faster than the speed of light.
“Good science fiction often predicts the future. Makes you wonder how powerful our thoughts really are.
“Time Pullers was a good read in terms of the character development and the story about the relationships between the people involved in this special project to change history by traveling to the past and affecting key historical events. I really enjoyed the book on all levels. Thank you, Mr. Deakins!”

“A great hard science fiction time travel book. Very intriguing and hard to put down. The scientific theory explanations are what sets this book apart from other sci-fi books. The detail of the time travel theories and the process leaves you convinced, and you have to remind yourself that this is fiction. Interesting characters, suspenseful storyline. If you enjoyed Contact, you will enjoy Time Pullers.”
