Antiquities of the Jews, and its’ sequel, Wars of the Jews, both by Flavius Josephus, document the history of the Jews. Though the author served in the Roman military, he continued to identify as a Jew, and much of what he writes in this first volume, is found in the Tanach. Included in this work are 20 books.
